guard girls rock. i was the captain of my high school color guard. we pretty much sucked. we tried to start up a winter guard my freshman year but the school gave us no money so the whole thing fell apart after two years. it's probably the hardest thing i've ever done. sometimes i wonder why i tortured myself for four years, considering the only way i could possibly apply these skills is if i join the circus(still crossing my fingers on that one). but it's fun to bust out the old flag and put on a show for my drunken friends. proves to be a riot from time to time, especially when i crack myself in the head. and oh yeah, i love it.
